This custom-made banner was created for a local non-profit organization Lucky Dog Refuge based in Stamford, Connecticut.
Back in September 2022, the Lucky Dog team requested a piece of art that could be easily transported from one event to another. After consulting several ideas of the kinds of materials to be used, an outdoor vinyl banner resonated with their needs the most. This banner was created in two days and was printed before one of their major events of the year, Luckypawlooza! Spanning 28 ft wide to 7 ft tall, this banner is now an eye-catcher at any of their events.
Although banners can be created by an individual artist digitally or hand painted, it's always special to bring a community together through group painting.
Painting with a group of people and local community members on a project can help foster a sense of community and bring people together through a shared creative experience. It can allow individuals to learn from one another and share their unique perspectives and ideas.
Painting with diverse people of all ages can also promote inclusivity and encourage individuals to step outside of their comfort zones and embrace new experiences and perspectives. This banner design was featured at their annual charity 5K in New Haven, CT. The final print size was 8x8 feet and was printed on a vinyl banner with grommets all around the sides. This banner is waterproof and can last years for outdoor events and more.

In collaboration with Walmart, I had the privilege of bringing a unique digital design to life that celebrates the rich traditions of Brooklyn, CT. This partnership allowed us to showcase the town's vibrant culture and community spirit through visually engaging elements that resonate with both locals and visitors. By integrating local traditions into the design, we aimed to create a meaningful connection between the supermarket and the community it serves. This project not only highlights the beauty of Brooklyn but also reinforces the importance of supporting local heritage.
