This custom-made banner was created for a local non-profit organization Lucky Dog Refuge based in Stamford, Connecticut.
Back in September 2022, the Lucky Dog team requested a piece of art that could be easily transported from one event to another. After consulting several ideas of the kinds of materials to be used, an outdoor vinyl banner resonated with their needs the most. This banner was created in two days and was printed before one of their major events of the year, Luckypawlooza! Spanning 28 ft wide to 7 ft tall, this banner is now an eye-catcher at any of their events.
Although banners can be created by an individual artist digitally or hand painted, it's always special to bring a community together through group painting.
Painting with a group of people and local community members on a project can help foster a sense of community and bring people together through a shared creative experience. It can provide an opportunity for individuals to learn from one another and share their unique perspectives and ideas.
